Version 4.3pre:
With the Hyper search bar docked to the right of the
screen. Performing a hyper search moves the focus from
the main window to the hyper search window and hides
the cursor in the main window. On using the keyboard
short-cut SHIFT+TAB the focus returns to the main
window, however the cursor doesn't reappear.

Logged In: YES user_id=1486645 Originator: NO Still occurs in jEdit 4.3pre9. It's not an issue when selecting a hypersearch result with the mouse. java 1.5.0_11 WinXp SP2 |

Logged In: YES user_id=1483238 Originator: NO I found that [Shift]+[TAB] moves focus to [Toggle Multiple Result] button. This can be verified with pressing [Space] key. Then the actual problems are: 1. Nothing shows the keyboard focus on buttons in the dockables. I can see a border when hovering the mouse cursor on these buttons. Is it possible to reuse the border to show the keyboard focus? 2. While keyboard focus is on a dockable button, almost all keys work for the textArea. I think they should not work. Optional beep sound may help, but it is not required if the problem 1 is solved. |

Logged In: YES user_id=1486645 Originator: NO It's still the same. Interesting: Although the focus is moved to the [Toggle Multiple Result] button, pressing the cursor keys UP and DOWN results in changing the active line in the text area (but the button keeps the focus). jEdit 4.3pre12 SUN JRE 1.6.0_03 WInXP SP2 |
