On Windows 7, with JRE 7 installed ( 1.7.0.25 ) I get an error on run :
"The registry refers to a nonexistent Java Runtime installation or the runtime is
corrupted. The system cannot find the file specified"
the sys admin assures me that JRE is correctly installed with a version released about
2 weeks ago

Others have reported similar problems and after further investigation, it was due
to old java files still being installed. Apparently, the upgrade process of this version
of JRE is buggy. But if you have a valid install and no old java files lying around
it works for me. Unable to reproduce. |
