InfoViewer now has the ability to replace the built-in help browser with something
else.
But infoviewer sucks. And that's mainly because of the horrible built-in web browser
included with JDK.
Eclipse can create a mini-server and send your external browser to point to it. The
mini server provides a
framed javascript interface that gives the user the ability to search.
Since it works with any browser, it is of course, my preferred browser.
I wish someone would write that server, add it to InfoViewer plugin, so that we could
tell infoviewer to use that for help as well. How much can we reuse from eclipse?
