It would be nice to sort the marks in several ways:
- line number (as it is now)
- enter order: marks are ordered from the oldest to the yungest (or most recent)
- shortcut order: marks are ordered according to the alphabetical order of their associated
shortcuts
- custom order: marks can be re-order by "move-up" and "move-down" buttons or even
by drag-n-dropping
"Jump to next" and "jump to previous" commands follow the order currently selected.

I can't imagine such a feature improving the efficiency / user-friendliness of the
plugin. I think that being "nice to have" in this case doesn't justify the work. Please note that you can also use several sets of markers, each set having its own color. Maybe this can be a partial substitute for the sorting. I do not intend to implement this feature. Anyone who is willing to is welcome to do it. |
