Recently I've noticed that jEdit is popping up dialogs that I am unable to see.
This is on Kubuntu/Linux with Java 1.7 and jEdit 5.3pre1 (trunk).
The dialogs show up UNDER my view instead of on top, and suddenly, it seems as if
jEdit is not listening to any keyboard or mouse events.
An example of one such dialog is the one that pops up when I try to reformat a paragraph
and there is no maxLineLen set.
So I get the dialog "The wrap margin must be set to non-zero for this to work."
This is reproducable every time.
I think there are other dialogs that are also not popping up correctly.

I see this also in jEdit 5.2.x branch.

Alan, is this still an issue? I can't reproduce it, I always get the dialogs on top like they should be. Could it be a KDE/Java problem? I'm using Xfce, which may be handling the dialogs differently than KDE. |
